Job Description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Associate Salesforce & SharePoint Support Administrator to join our partner’s enterprise applications team. This role plays a key part in supporting both internal and external users, maintaining system reliability, and advancing how teams collaborate through Salesforce, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 tools.
You’ll help ensure users have the access, training, and technical support they need while keeping systems secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. Role will be a remote contract to hire. Candidate must reside in CA, NV, OR.
What You’ll Do
Salesforce & Database Support
- Provide day-to-day Salesforce user support (internal and external), resolving 400–500 tickets and requests.
- Perform data updates, validation, and remediation to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Import/export data as needed to support analytics and reporting.
- Troubleshoot user issues and deliver timely solutions.
- Communicate system updates, best practices, and feature rollouts to end users.
- Collaborate with database administrators on projects, integrations, and platform enhancements.
- Deliver user training and maintain documentation for process consistency.
SharePoint Administration & Development
- Configure, design, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, subsites, lists, libraries, and workflows.
- Manage permissions, access controls, and governance to ensure secure collaboration.
- Develop and maintain templates, site branding, and migration projects using tools like ShareGate or native Microsoft utilities.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook).
- Monitor performance, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure system uptime and compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Support initiatives involving Salesforce, SharePoint, and broader Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
- Participate in upgrades, patching, and integration projects with IT and vendor partners.
- Maintain governance documentation, policies, and system standards.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience administering and configuring SharePoint (including SharePoint Online).
- 1–2 years of Salesforce administration experience.
- 3+ years providing user support across both Salesforce and SharePoint platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Microsoft certifications (MS-700, MS-600, or related M365/SharePoint certs).
- Hands-on experience with migration tools (ShareGate, Metalogix, or Mover.io).
- Familiarity with ETL tools (Matillion), data warehousing (Snowflake), and reporting (Power BI).
- PowerShell scripting or Power Automate workflow experience.
- Knowledge of Active Directory / Azure AD.
- Background in nonprofit or workforce development environments.
