The ideal candidate must have good verbal and written communications skills. The job requires someone who is self-motivated, driven and flexible with some technical aptitude, willing to learn in-depth about products. The ideal candidate is competitive and likes to help people by solving problems, with the ability to work independently but also as part of a larger team.

General Description:

An Independent Architectural Sales Representative Position develops, maintains and interacts with new and existing customers utilizing various methods of contact including email, phone and personal visits to increase sales of products within assigned territories and/or market segments. They develop sales strategies designed sell products in order to solve clients problems in order to achieve increased sales and profitability. They are based in their market territory and visit Winco in St. Louis during the interview and on-boarding process if selected.

Duties:

  • Utilize software, contacts and other resources to research prospective jobs
  • Develop existing and new customers
  • Provide information / details for Winco proposal
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to secure purchase order
  • Review and track project updates
  • Follow up with customer on project satisfaction and future jobs
  • Develop Architect relationships

Essential Functions

  • Knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products
  • Market strategy and tactics

  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Products

Supervisory responsibilities

This position has no supervisory duties.

Compensation

Independent Contractor, 1099 Commission based compensation Commission on invoiced shipments after paid complete and split profit bonus opportunity. Estimated pay is up to $400,000 but commissions are uncapped
