Title: Founding Engineer

Time: Full-Time (PST)

Location: Remote

Compensation: $210,000/year + equity

The Company

Our client is building the AI operating system for modern enterprises. By seamlessly integrating with fragmented systems, such as HRIS, ERP, CLM, and Email, they surface actionable insights on where to optimize operations, consolidate resources, invest for growth, or replace manual workflows with AI.

Role Overview

As a Founding Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the product and infrastructure from the ground up. You’ll work directly with the founding team to bring high-impact solutions to market owning initiatives end-to-end, building polished user experiences, and working closely with enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver end-to-end engineering solutions across the stack.
  • Collaborate directly with enterprise clients to understand system requirements and drive integration.
  • Build polished, production-grade features with minimal oversight.
  • Participate in on-site client visits to assess needs, gather feedback, and troubleshoot system configurations.
  • Operate at a high velocity to meet rapid demand from enterprise and government clients.
  • Influence product direction by contributing technical insights and market feedback.

  • Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience in 0-to-1 product development.
    • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in customer-facing roles.
    • Comfortable navigating legacy enterprise systems and integrating with complex IT environments.
    • Proven ability to thrive under intensity and tight timelines.

  • Preferred Skills

    • Typescript + React + Hono stack
    • AI SDK, Letta, and Turbopuffer for AI workflows
    • Fully deployed on AWS (ECS + Aurora RDS)
    • Background in enterprise SaaS or systems integration.
    • Familiarity with AI/ML applications or infrastructure is a plus.
