About the role:
As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical savviness to gain a deep understanding of the company’s products, processes, and test requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Completing an assigned engineering project during the term of the internship.
- Contributing to several ongoing capital engineering projects within the plant.
- Experience with and exposure to supporting the Project Management Life Cycle, including:
- Preparation of project specifications and requirements.
- Project schedule coordination and utilization of Project Management tools.
- Installation oversight, project closing activities, and sustainability initiatives.
- Valuable insight into large-scale manufacturing facilities, equipment, and safe working practices.
- AutoCAD experience – updating existing drawings and creating new drawings.
- Exposure to Conveying, combustion, fluid, and pneumatic transfer systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at an ABET accredited program AND be a maximum of 24 months away from graduation.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (cumulative, and within major).
