Independent Sales Representative (Mid-Atlantic)

Are you a motivated salesperson who loves building relationships and driving results? At Genesis Marketing Group, we’re looking for Independent Sales Representatives to partner and grow with us.

As a 1099 independent contractor (100% commission), you’ll run your own territory with strong support from our leadership, vendor partners, and temporary showrooms in Atlanta, Dallas, and Las Vegas. You’ll represent many of the top brands in the inspirational gift and publishing industry and connect with retailers in your assigned territory. You’ll spend your time cultivating relationships through face-to-face visits, presenting products, and helping customers find solutions that fuel their success—while achieving your own sales goals along the way.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales — whether in new business acquisition, account management, or both.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up abilities.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly.
• Comfortable with technology (CRM, Teams/Zoom, Microsoft Office, digital catalogs).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
