About Us:
We are an established film festival celebrating 18 years of connecting Brazilian and American cinema. The event attracts top talent, industry leaders, and global brands, creating a unique platform for cultural and business exchange. The event is held at the iconic Culver Theater, in Culver City.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an independent contractor to act as our Sponsorship Sales Manager on a commission-only basis. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong network in entertainment, film, luxury, or lifestyle brands who understands how to create and close sponsorship opportunities for major cultural events.
Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential sponsors aligned with the festival’s mission and audience.
Develop and present customized sponsorship proposals.
Negotiate and secure partnership agreements.
Maintain ongoing communication with sponsors until payment is completed.
Collaborate with the festival’s executive team to align opportunities with event strategy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sponsorship or partnership sales for film, entertainment, or large-scale events.
Strong network of brand and agency contacts.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Authorized to work as an independent contractor in the U.S.
Compensation:
This is a commission-only contractor role.
The contractor will receive 35% commission for each confirmed and paid sponsorship.
No base salary or employee benefits are offered.
Commissions are paid after the sponsor’s full payment is received by the festival.
