Job Description

SLIPNOT, the industry leader in industrial metal safety flooring, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive strategic revenue growth across the southeast region (Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama). This role is designed for a results-driven sales professional who excels in identifying customer needs and delivering high-value solutions.

The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality—a proven ability to cultivate new business, build long-term relationships, and develop customized solutions that create measurable value for both the customer and SLIPNOT. This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional to take ownership of a high-potential market and make a significant impact. The candidate should be located near a major airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers across industries such as Food & Beverage and Industrial Manufacturing.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of SLIPNOT’s premium safety solutions, positioning them as the preferred choice for high-impact projects.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and consultative selling to closing large-scale deals.
  • Develop relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations, from operations and safety teams to senior leadership.
  • Drive product specifications for major capital projects, ensuring SLIPNOT is positioned as the basis of design.
  • Consistently exceed sales targets, leveraging strategic prospecting, account development, and consultative sales techniques.
  • Travel extensively (50-75%) to engage with customers, conduct site visits, and strengthen client partnerships.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record of success in a hunter sales role, consistently exceeding quota.
  • 5+ years of experience selling manufactured/engineered products to end-users, contractors, or fabricators.
  • 5+ years of experience selling into capital projects, with a strong understanding of securing product specifications.
  • Strong prospecting skills—able to identify and engage new accounts while expanding existing relationships.
  • Consultative sales approach—adept at uncovering client challenges and crafting tailored solutions that demonstrate ROI.
  • Experience selling into industrial markets such as Food & Beverage and Industrial Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Ability to sell on value, not price—demonstrated success in positioning premium solutions in competitive markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission plan, paid quarterly
  • Auto stipend & mileage reimbursement to support travel
  • Equity shares
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match, supporting long-term financial success
  • Generous paid time off and holidays to maintain work-life balance
