Position Overview

We’re seeking a Membership & Training Sales Executive to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for promoting and selling training programs, recruiting new members, spearheading our event attendee recruitment efforts, and building strong relationships with prospects across multiple associations. The ideal candidate is energetic, hungry to win, goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunity for advancement. This role is a launchpad for growth into senior sales, marketing, or association leadership roles and reports directly to the CEO. Upon hire the chosen candidate will be provided with industry related training and be guided through a detailed onboarding program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive membership growth by identifying, contacting, and closing new members across multiple associations in the security, automation, fire and low voltage electrical industry.
  • Promote and sell association training programs, certifications, and workforce development tools to individuals and companies.
  • Qualify prospects and build strong relationships with our members across the organizations we serve and spearhead attendee recruitment to association events all over the country.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each association’s value proposition to effectively communicate benefits and ROI to potential members.
  • Manage leads and opportunities through our CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate tracking.
  • Collaborate with marketing, training, and operations team members to execute targeted campaigns and optimize sales strategies.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs including training sales, membership, and attendee recruitment goals.
  • Represent TCX and its association clients at industry events, webinars, and conferences as needed.

Expected Results

  • Achieve and track daily outreach targets (calls, emails, social media follow up)
  • All member and prospect interactions are properly documented in CRM
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly sales goals

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or membership recruitment (association or training industry experience a plus).
  • Exceptional over the phone along with strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for achieving goals.
  • Comfortable working with many client organizations simultaneously and keeping track of a myriad of details while building genuine rapport with members and prospects.
  • Experience using CRM and digital outreach tools preferred.
  • Self sufficient and be able to manage your time effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred, but not required.

Compensation:

Base Salary Plus Quarterly Bonuses for Reaching Quarterly Goals

Total Compensation is $45,000 OTE
