Job Description
Essential Functions
- Lead project writing, analysis and coordination with other data analyst’s on tasks related to data analysis, organization, and cleaning.
- Lead and assist collaborators with study design and conceptualization for primary and secondary research.
- Clean, process, and analyze primary data while ensuring quality control, annotation, and integration.
- Maintain meticulous and well-organized records related to internal and external communications, project management, and all other aspects of the job.
- Refine procedures and policies for the planning and management of all data sources.
- Utilize a variety of statistical tests to conduct analyses and rapidly learn statistical methods, programming languages, and analytic/visualization tools as required by project needs.
- Maintain and track all encrypted/protected data sources and manage their use.
- Find and implement new software to improve teams internal and external documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in statistics, computer science, public health, or other related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience
- Expertise in data and project-based leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and work under deadlines in collaboration with other team members.
- Strong writing and communication skills for projects, reports, and grants.
- Knowledge of primary database creation and management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced programming skills with SAS and either SQL, Stata, R and/or Python
- A strong command of Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, and Excel.
- Remote work is possible and supported, although candidates with some availability to be in our offices at Drexel University occasionally for on-site required analyses are preferred.
- Knowledge of autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or mental health.
- Knowledge of data visualization principles, best practices, and at least one visual analytics software (e.g., ArcGIS, Tableau, R, Python)

Additional Information
This position is classified as Part Time Non-Exempt, grade J. Compensation for this grade ranges from $22.74 to $34.11 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
