The Role
Title: Senior Associate – Plaintiff Employment (Wage & Hour/Class Actions)
Reporting: Into a senior team member transitioning off the docket; you’ll own and run cases with partner support.
Docket: CA employment class/collective actions (W&H focus) + a sprinkle of harassment matters.
- Lead class/collective wage-and-hour cases (PAGA/FLSA/misclassification) from investigation through resolution.
- Draft and argue complex motions (class cert, approvals, etc.); manage discovery and experts.
- Appear at hearings/mediations; handle (or support) arbitrations.
- Mentor junior attorneys/paralegals; model strong communication and team leadership.
- Collaborate with partners on strategy; occasionally travel for key appearances.
Salary & Bonus
Base salary: up to $250,000 + Bonus

Requirements
- 10+ years employment litigation experience with plaintiff-side wage-and-hour focus (class/collective).
- California Bar required.
- Arbitration exposure preferred (not required to have 1st-chaired).
- Strong brief-writing (please provide a writing sample).
- Proven team leadership/mentorship and communication skills.
- Not a solo-practitioner profile; defense-only backgrounds are not a fit (mixed plaintiff/defense considered).
