Role Overview
As part of the Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) department for Centauri Health Solutions, the Contract and Reimbursement Analyst primarily supports the RCA team in hospital pricing analytics.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensures latest contract rates and terms are available.
- Assures plan code affiliations to contracts are correct.
- Creates price uploads for clients upon approval of models.
- Assists with room rate and lesser-of analyses.
- Works with strategic pricing analysts to compare models from one year to the next, ensuring client data integrity and consistency.
- Supplements the work of others in the creation and implementation of QA programs.
- Communicates with clients as needed to confirm contract rates/terms/intentions.
- Understand and agree to role-specific information security access and responsibilities
- Ensure safety and confidentiality of data and systems by adhering to the organizations information security policies
- Read, understand and agree to security policies and complete all annual security and compliance training
Role Requirements
- 0-3 years of Hospital Managed Care contracting experience
- Strong knowledge of reimbursement methodologies (hospital, physician, ancillary, health plan, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of hospital medical coding (DRGs, CPTs, Revenue Codes, Charge Codes, ICDs)
- Good knowledge of fundamental analytical concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong contract interpretation/analysis skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, Teams).
- Excellent judgment
- Financial acumen
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
