Accounting S1 Consultant
Location: 100% Remote (Early Morning U.S. Hours)
Compensation:$85-$100/hour (depending on experience)

A global organization headquartered in Europe is seeking a hands-on Accounting S1 Consultant to join its team on a contract basis. This role will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and requires a strong technical accounting background and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical accounting functions in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.

  • Support revenue recognition processes and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.

  • Collaborate with international teams across time zones.

  • Provide hands-on support in financial reporting and accounting operations.

  • Utilize NetSuite (preferred) and other accounting tools to manage and reconcile data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.

  • Experience with revenue recognition.

  • Hands-on accounting experience within a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with NetSuite is a plus.

  • Ability to work early morning hours (starting between 5:00–6:00 AM ET) to align with European time zones.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Compensation & Engagement:

  • 1099 contract role

  • $90.00 per hour

  • 100% remote
