Product Data Specialist

Halo is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Product Data Specialist is responsible for the accurate and complete management of all retail product data and SKUs within Mishipay retail management and HALO internal systems. This role is critical to maintaining data integrity, supporting operational efficiency, sales, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Product data management:

• Create, maintain, and update product data records, including SKUs, descriptions, pricing, inventory levels, and images, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all channels.
• Manage the product lifecycle within the system, from initial setup to discontinuation.
• Perform regular data audits and clean-up efforts to identify and correct inconsistencies and anomalies.

System management:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Mishipay and HALO SKU setup
• Configure and optimize system settings related to retail products, such as product variants, attributes, and categories, to meet business requirements.

Testing and validation

• Conduct and document test scans/validation of product uploads/changes to ensure information displays correctly both internally and on customer-facing platforms

Cross-functional collaboration:

• Work closely with client and HALO internal teams to ensure product data meets the needs of all departments.

Reporting

• Generate reports on product performance, inventory status, and other key retail metrics.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel (including Advanced Filters, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Effective time management, multi-tasking, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Resourceful, adaptable, and able to perform well under pressure in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate and contribute positively
• Flexible and willing to work overtime when required

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is between $20.50- $26.50 per hour . Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
