Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Are you an experienced marketer, or do you have a background in marketing agencies? Have you successfully sold B2B or B2C marketing, event services, or technology solutions to enterprise marketing organizations? Are you someone who is deeply curious, a lifelong learner, and appreciates the art of building relationships? If so, Crawford Group wants to have a conversation with you. We need an experienced business development representative who will be responsible for prospect outreach, scheduling meetings, uncovering opportunities, and acquiring new logos.

Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle business development: prospect, pitch, and close high-value marketing services engagements.
- Qualify inbound leads and proactively pursue new opportunities through outreach and networking.
- Develop tailored proposals and creative solutions that resonate with client needs and goals.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and main point of contact for new clients, from initial engagement through hand-off to delivery teams.
- Collaborate internally to ensure alignment on client vision, expectations, and creative execution.
- Support retention and expansion efforts to grow key accounts into long-term partnerships.
- Meet performance targets.
Requirements:
- 3+ years (minimum) in client development or sales, including 1+ years in a creative agency or marketing-focused environment.
- Demonstrated success in securing enterprise-level deals ($250k deals a plus).
- Proven network of seasoned marketing and sales professionals.
- Excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
- Strategic thinker who can build and execute scalable account plans.
- Passion for marketing and events.
- Referenceable clients.
- Ability to effectively utilize online business tools and applications; CRM, AI, Project Management, Staffing, and G-Suite are minimum requirements.
- BS or BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields preferred.
- Occasional travel as needed (not more than 20%).
Location: Remote but preferred Greater Bay Area, CA
Duration: Direct Hire
Rate: Base of $80,000 – $125,000 plus commissions (Our ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location)
