Workyard helps construction teams run more profitable job sites with GPS-verified time tracking, labor costing, and compliance tools, all in one simple app. We help crews and owners spend less time chasing timesheets and more time building.

We’re a fast-growing startup (~70 people) building a best-in-class outbound motion and are looking for exceptional Outbound SDRs who take pride in their craft and want real ownership.

Note: This is a fully in-office role based out of our San Francisco office, so you’ll need to be based here and happy being in office for this role.

About the Role

This is a pure outbound SDR role focused on generating qualified pipeline from mostly warm sources across medium and large construction businesses.

You’ll work accounts with clear buying signals: past closed-lost opportunities, pricing-page visitors, Product Qualified Leads (PQLs), and tech-stack-driven targets. This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for SDRs who already understand outbound fundamentals and can execute immediately while continuously improving the motion.

You’ll spend most of your time on the phone, with space to experiment and contribute to outbound strategy.

What You’ll Do

* Generate qualified pipeline through high-volume, high-quality outbound outreach

* Own outreach to past closed-lost deals, PQLs, website-intent accounts, and tech-stack targets

* Spend ~60% of your time calling with disciplined call blocks

* Spend ~15% on CRM hygiene and admin (clean Salesforce data, strong handoffs)

* Spend ~25% experimenting with new tactics, messaging, and sequences

* Run strong discovery conversations and book high-quality meetings for AEs

* Consistently hit or exceed monthly meeting and pipeline targets

* Maintain tight follow-up and multi-channel engagement

* Collaborate closely with AEs on deal quality and handoffs

* Share winning talk tracks and outbound insights to raise team performance

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience as an Outbound SDR ideally in a B2B SaaS company

* Demonstrated success generating pipeline via outbound

* Experience selling into mid-market or larger accounts

* Proficient with Salesforce, Outreach, Dialpad, or similar tools

* Construction, field services, or workforce management experience is a plus
