Contract: 12-Month
Working pattern: Office-first – 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home (first month fully in-office for onboarding)
Role Purpose
The Junior Design & Video Content Producer is a development-focused creative role designed to support the delivery of visual and video content across Maddox’s campaigns, exhibitions and marketing activity – while providing the individual with structured guidance, training and creative mentorship.
Working closely with the Graphic Designer and the wider Marketing Team, the role combines the practical application of existing video production skills with support across design and creative asset production. The individual will apply their knowledge in real-world project environments and will develop greater confidence, efficiency and creative refinement over time, while being supported in a collaborative, process-led and growth-oriented environment.
This role is ideal for an early-career creative with a strong visual eye, foundation skills in design and video and a genuine enthusiasm to learn, develop and grow within a luxury art setting.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing
- Apply existing filming and editing skills to produce short-form video content for campaigns, exhibitions, events and social channels.
- Film onsite and on location using camera and/or mobile equipment, capturing engaging visuals that align with Maddox’s brand style.
- Edit videos across a range of formats – including reels, teasers, highlights and social cut-downs – applying established skills in colour correction, captions, titles and light motion or graphic elements.
- Adapt and repurpose footage into platform-specific formats (Instagram, TikTok, website, email), ensuring technical accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain an organised archive of footage, project files and exports, following agreed workflows and naming conventions.
- Work closely with the Graphic Designer and Marketing Team for direction, feedback and creative alignment, while taking day-to-day responsibility for executing video edits.
Design & Creative Production Support
- Assist in creating and adapting digital and print assets such as brochures, invitations and campaign materials.
- Support artwork resizing, layout variations and template updates.
- Help prepare visual mock-ups and visualisation renders under guidance from the Graphic Designer.
- Contribute to maintaining quality control and brand consistency across outputs.
Campaigns, Exhibitions & Content Support
- Support the preparation of creative materials for campaigns, exhibitions, advisory communications and gallery projects.
- Capture photography of campaigns and exhibitions where appropriate.
- Prepare thumbnails, stills and supporting graphics for digital and video content.
- Participate in brainstorming, moodboarding and content planning – contributing ideas in a practical, learning-led context.
Workflow, Structure & Development
- Work in a structured and methodical way, building good habits around task tracking, version control and file organisation.
- Communicate progress proactively, seeking guidance where needed and contributing to a supportive feedback culture.
- Take part in regular check-ins, reviews and development conversations to support learning and skill progression.
- Support coordination with suppliers or freelancers where required.
Skills & Experience
- Early-career creative, graduate or junior candidate with a portfolio demonstrating foundation skills in design and/or video.
- Basic experience filming or editing video content (academic, personal, freelance or internship experience welcome).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro (or equivalent), Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator – with a willingness to develop proficiency.
- Strong visual awareness with an interest in composition, framing, layout and typography.
- Organised, process-minded and eager to build structured working habits.
- Positive attitude, curiosity and enthusiasm to learn in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Interest in contemporary art, culture and brand storytelling.

Progression & Development
This is a structured growth role. Across the first 12 months, the post-holder will:
- Develop confidence across design and video workflows
- Take on gradually increasing creative responsibility
- Work towards greater independence in content delivery
Progression may lead towards a Junior-Mid Graphic & Content Designer or Creative Producer role, depending on performance and development.
