The Role

SpeechLP is an AI-powered speech therapy platform. We have a product that is changing lives, a passionate clinical team, and the capital to scale. Now, we need velocity.

We are looking for a relentless Business Development Assistant to work directly with the CEO.

Your role is singular and critical: You are the engine that drives our growth. Your mission is to identify key partners—Clinic Directors, School Board Superintendents, Influencers and Insurance Executives—and ensure the CEO’s calendar is full of high-value meetings with them.

You must be extroverted, outgoing and enthusiastic.

This is not an administrative role. It is a growth role. Success is measured by one number: How many qualified meetings are booked on the calendar this week?

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Targeting: You will map the landscape of the top Speech Clinics and School Districts across North America to identify the right decision-makers.
  • Relentless Outreach: You will craft and execute the emails, calls, and messages that cut through the noise and get a response.
  • Mission-Driven Pitching: You aren’t selling software; you are advocating for better accessibility in speech therapy. You will communicate our mission with passion and clarity.
  • Calendar Management: You will handle the logistics of booking, prepping, and confirming meetings to ensure seamless execution.

Who You Are

  • You are a Hunter: You are comfortable with cold outreach.
  • You are Passionate about the Space: You have a genuine interest in Special Education, Speech Therapy, or Child Development. It is infinitely easier to open doors when you believe in what is behind them.
  • You are Articulate: You can write professional, compelling emails that busy executives will actually read.
  • You are Ambition-Driven: You want to learn how to build a company from the ground up by working side-by-side with a Founder.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in-person in Toronto.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Background in Psychology, Education, Business, or Communications is a plus, but “hustle” matters more than your major.
