Learning Objectives

This short term contract provides the opportunity to pursue one or more of the following learning objectives:

Understand Startup Marketing & Growth Fundamentals

Explain how early-stage startups approach brand building, user acquisition, and community growth

Describe the differences between startup marketing vs. traditional corporate marketing

Understand how mission-driven organizations integrate values (wellbeing, ethics, impact) into growth strategies

Apply Digital Marketing & Communication Skills

Practice creating and sharing marketing content across social media, campus channels, and digital communities

Learn how messaging, tone, and storytelling influence engagement and trust

Develop basic skills in promotions, outreach, and campaign execution

Develop Sales & Outreach Awareness

Understand the fundamentals of early-stage sales, partnerships, and user onboarding

Practice ethical promotion and relationship-based outreach rather than transactional selling

Learn how feedback and conversations inform product-market fit

Build Community & Ambassador Skills

Learn how to build and nurture communities around shared interests and wellbeing goals

Practice peer-to-peer engagement, advocacy, and ambassador leadership

Bi-weekly reflection summaries
