Role : Strategic Account Manager

Location : Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad

Experience : 3 to 6 Years

Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, identifying

new sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the IT and System

Integration space. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their IT

infrastructure and solution requirements and collaborating with internal teams to deliver

customized services that meet client needs.

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key

client stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and goals.

Sales Strategy Execution: Drive sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets, utilizing

knowledge of IT and SI products and services to provide tailored solutions.

New Business Development: Identify, qualify, and engage with new prospective clients,

presenting them with suitable IT and SI services that align with their requirements.

Solution Selling: Engage in consultative selling by providing insights on IT and system

integration solutions and services, helping clients to achieve their technology objectives.

Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and updated sales pipeline to track progress,

forecasts, and business growth.

Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinate with technical teams, project managers, and

customer support to ensure client expectations are met.

Negotiation and Contract Management: Facilitate contract negotiations and finalize sales

agreements, ensuring alignment with both client needs and company policies.

Market Research and Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and

competitor offerings to enhance client conversations and sales strategies.

Project Coordination:

β€’ Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful

delivery of system integration solutions.

β€’ Monitor project timelines and ensure that deliverables meet or exceed client

expectations.

Upselling and Cross-Selling:

β€’ Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.

β€’ Work closely with sales teams to propose relevant solutions that align with clients’

evolving needs.

Strategic Account Planning:

β€’ Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve growth targets.

β€’ Anticipate client needs and proactively propose solutions to enhance their systems.

Market Knowledge:

β€’ Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitors.

β€’ Provide clients with insights and recommendations on optimizing their systems.

Requirements

β€’ B.E / B.Tech / Bsc. IT Graduates (Preferable).

β€’ β€œOpportunity creation” skills.

β€’ Sales acquisition skills would be key to success.

β€’ Good analytical & presentation skills would help him /her get better success.

β€’ Solution based selling approach mindset is a must.

β€’ Suitable commercial skills.

β€’ Excellent negotiation skills to ensure win- win for the company & customer.
