About the Role:
This is a fractional, remote role for a Growth & Business Development Manager at Seed and Scale, with a strong preference for candidates based in the UAE and familiar with the local venture/startup ecosystem. This multifaceted role will cover business development, sales, and marketing.Β
You will:
- Develop and execute a business development/marketing strategy to expand Seed and Scaleβs startup client portfolio;
- Build and maintain partnerships with investors (VCs, angels, accelerators) to support portfolio companies through fundraising;
- Establish partnerships with other startup service providers;
- Drive soft sales through introductions, referrals, and trusted relationships within the startup communities;
- Build and manage relationships with existing clients to support retention and growth;
- Initiate and coordinate workshops and educational collaborations with startup communities and accelerators;
- Arrange Partner/Companyβs participation in selected conferences and startup events (speaker, brand booths).
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing of professional services (legal services – a strong plus);
- Knowledge of the UAE startup ecosystem (founders, investors, accelerators, or service providers);
- Strong communication skills;
- Commercial mindset with an understanding of company revenue drivers;
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus);
- Interest in startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies.
