We’re growing and looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Account Executive to join our dynamic team.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in expanding Shamir’s presence in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, building strong relationships with Eye Care Professionals, and driving business growth. You’ll combine your sales expertise with your knowledge of optical products to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow your territory: Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
  • Achieve results: Meet and exceed sales targets within your assigned region.
  • Stay informed: Keep up to date on Shamir’s product portfolio, market trends, competitors, and new technologies.
  • Represent the brand: Attend trade shows, conferences, and seminars as a Shamir ambassador.
  • Deliver exceptional service: Provide knowledgeable, timely, and proactive support to all clients.
  • Collaborate & report: Use Salesforce and other tools to manage leads, track activity, and ensure seamless onboarding of new accounts.

What You Bring

  • Licensed Optician – preferred
  • Experience in the Optical Industry is required
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience in the optical sector, ideally selling directly to Eye Care Professionals
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and organized, with excellent time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience an asset)
  • Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%)
