About the Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager to join their team in the Chicago, Illinois area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years in selling water treatment chemicals. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing the client base, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and product presentations to prospective and current clients.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients regarding water treatment chemicals and solutions.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling water treatment chemicals.
- Strong understanding of water treatment chemicals and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelorβs degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
