- These positions are based in the continental US**
What you will do:
- Facilitate technical mock interviews to effectively serve students in the pipeline.
- Mentor and guide program students/completers through externship projects following pre-defined guidelines, parameters, and expectations within a 5 -8 week period.
- Provide technical expertise as needed in program-specific tools and practices.
- Review projects assigned to you by program manager for feasibility and alignment to program’s curriculum.
- Provide project comments and curriculum-specific adjustments within 3 business days of assignment to be shared with external stakeholders by program managers for final approval.
- Facilitate cohorts of a minimum of 15 students.
- Facilitate 2 cohorts simultaneously with staggered start dates, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Lead and organize project tasks, ensuring clear and concise documentation, test plans, and reports.
- Adapt management methods to accommodate different learning styles and paces of students.
- Ensure a cohort drop out rate of less than 10% through clear management of expectations, transparency, and team building
- Achieve an average student satisfaction rating of 3 or greater for each cohort facilitated (as measured by the student satisfaction survey facilitated by program manager following final demo presentations)
- Provide letters of recommendation for participating students as requested
- Collaborate with other mentors and team members to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Actively participate in team meetings, professional development trainings, and workshops
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate projects, identify key deliverables, and develop solutions independently.
- 10 years of hands-on industry experience – in program specific area
- Comfortable providing constructive and actionable feedback to junior professionals or students.
- Ideally experienced in presentation coaching, mentoring, or guiding others in their professional development.
- Clear and confident communicator who can explain technical or complex concepts in a simple and engaging way.
- Familiarity with project management and tracking such as JIRA **And management tools:**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience mentoring or teaching students or junior professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
- Comfortable leading a team and possessing strong project organizational skills.
- Evening and weekend availability (Eastern Time).
What we can offer you:
- Part Time Position
- Candidates should expect to work close to the 30 hours per week.
- $40/hr. – $50/hr. pay rate
