We are looking for a high performance and disruptive thinker of an App Developer for a ground breaking Health Tech product company based out of Mumbai, India. The opportunity is remote to start with, but may turn to a hybrid working situation in the next few months.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Android App Developer. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and implement technical solutions. Responsibilities also include integrating APIs, troubleshooting performance issues, optimizing application functionality, and staying updated with evolving Android development practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with a strong grasp of capacitor.js Java/Kotlin and Android-specific frameworks.
• Experience with Databases and data handling to ensure efficient app performance and scalability.
• Knowledge of front-end development, including Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), for enhancing the user interface of Android applications.
• Expertise in API Integration to connect applications seamlessly with back-end systems and third-party services.
• Proven ability to solve problems, debug efficiently, and optimize performance in mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and user experience principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in developing AI-based or SaaS applications is a plus.
