This is a client-facing, execution-heavy role suited for professionals who operate comfortably at the intersection of policy research, strategic communications, industry engagement, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires strong ownership, analytical ability, and the capacity to translate complex policy developments into clear, actionable inputs for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Research & Strategic Inputs
- Track and analyse policy, regulatory, and political developments relevant to client mandates.
- Conduct structured desk research, stakeholder mapping, and issue analysis.
- Develop internal briefs, talking points, backgrounders, and client-ready notes with clear implications and recommendations.
- Support senior team members in building advocacy narratives and engagement strategies.
Industry Engagement & Event Coordination
- Manage client participation in industry forums, consultations, roundtables, and third-party events.
- Liaise with industry bodies, event organisers, speakers, and internal teams for KOF engagements.
- Oversee end-to-end coordination including session planning, speaker preparation, branding, and on-ground logistics where required.
Client Servicing & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Ensure timely updates, follow-ups, and alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support execution of policy communication and advocacy plans through structured coordination and problem-solving.
Project & Process Management
- Track deliverables, timelines, and reporting requirements across multiple workstreams.
- Maintain trackers, dashboards, and documentation for client and internal use.
- Ensure quality control and attention to detail across all outputs.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Communications, Media Studies, or related fields
- Prior experience in a policy consultancy, public affairs firm, communications agency, think tank, industry association, or corporate PA team
- Familiarity with India’s policy and regulatory ecosystem
- Exposure to industry bodies, government engagement, or advocacy-led projects is a plus
