About the Role
The Bridal Consultant guides brides through the selection of their wedding gown and accessories, ensuring a personalized, elegant, and memorable experience. The role blends client engagement, styling sensibility, and attention to detail, from the first consultation to the final fitting.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience
- Welcome and assist brides with professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness
- Understand each bride’s vision and provide expert bridal styling advice
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and follow up when needed
- Collaborate with the boutique team to deliver a seamless client journey
Sales & Boutique Operations
- Assess client needs and recommend suitable gowns and accessories
- Monitor buying trends and share insights with the Shop Supervisor
- Assist in resolving client concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Use boutique systems to process sales orders, invoices, and reports
Fittings & Dress Preparation
- Accurately document client specifications and fitting requirements
- Coordinate with tailors to ensure gowns meet agreed specifications
- Support alterations and fittings with high attention to detail
- Follow up on any changes or special client requests
Inventory & Presentation
- Ensure gowns are well-maintained and attractively displayed
- Support inventory control and participate in stock counts when required
Qualifications & Profile
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of bridal and evening fashion trends and designers
- High attention to detail, especially during fittings and alterations
- Comfortable using retail or boutique management systems
- Passion for fashion and delivering exceptional client experiences
- Background in fashion design, styling, or couture is a plus
Working Conditions
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with gown fittings
