We’re Hiring: Business Development Manager (BDM)

What You’ll Do:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of existing clients – understand their supply chain, procurement, and spend patterns to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop tailored growth strategies across categories such as janitorial & hygiene, furniture, print, and facilities to deepen engagement and expand spend.
- Prospect and win new business – generate leads, qualify prospects, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle through to onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal teams – work closely with our category specialists, operations, and customer service teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.
- Monitor account performance – analyse spend trends, report on pipeline and revenue, and maintain accurate CRM data.
- Act as a trusted advisor – build strong relationships, understand client goals (cost control, sustainability, service integration) and deliver tailored solutions that add value.
What We’re Looking For
Proven B2B sales or account management experience within workplace supplies or one of our core sectors (see more at quillsuk.co.uk).
A commercially minded, results-driven self-starter.
Excellent communicator who builds long-term partnerships and delivers results.
