Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Inbound D2C Sales Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers—handling inbound calls, chats, and product enquiries. You’ll play a crucial role in guiding prospects through their buying journey and ensuring they have a smooth, informed experience with Electrent.
This role offers a fixed salary + monthly performance incentive, with a clear growth path to leading and managing the inbound sales team as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls, chats, and enquiries from customers with professionalism and empathy.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Electrent solutions.
Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and conversions in CRM tools.
Follow up with prospects to close sales.
Coordinate with operations and support teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment/customer service.
Provide feedback and insights from customers to help improve processes and product.
Gradually take ownership of training new team members and leading the inbound sales function.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in inbound sales, telesales, or customer service (D2C experience preferred).
Strong communication skills (English & Hindi).
Ability to build rapport quickly and understand customer needs.
Self-motivated and eager to learn.
Comfortable using CRM systems, chat tools, and digital platforms.
A growth mindset with the ambition to lead and manage a team in the near future.

Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service experience and the ability to handle customer inquiries efficiently
- Sales and negotiation skills with a focus on achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of power backup, energy storage, or cleantech industry is beneficial
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software and CRM tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
