Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and creative Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to join our Communications team. You will be the driving force behind AUEED’s social media presence, creating compelling content that tells our impact stories, engages diverse audiences, and strengthens our mission across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Content Creation: Develop and execute engaging social media content in Arabic & English (posts, graphics, visual content, reels, stories) aligned with AUEED’s communications strategy.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Platform Management: Manage AUEED’s accounts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok; schedule posts and monitor engagement.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Digital Marketing: Develop, implement, and optimize online marketing campaigns to drive brand visibility and measurable engagement.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Community Engagement: Monitor trends, conversations, risks, and sentiments related to AUEED’s mandate, recommending actions to boost engagement and counter misinformation, disinformation, and hate speech.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Field Documentation: Travel to Upper Egypt field sites to document success stories, capture photos and videos, and create authentic content.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance, provide insights, and suggest improvements to maximize reach.

Requirements

Essential:

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media Management, Public Relations, or a related field.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β 1–3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Native Arabic proficiency and strong English language skills (written and verbal) are required.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Soundcloud) and content scheduling tools.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Strong ability to work with different teams to translate development initiatives into engaging digital narratives.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Ability to travel to Upper Egypt for regular field missions.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Passion for development work and community impact.

Desirable:

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Previous experience with NGOs or development organizations is highly welcomed.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Portfolio demonstrating creative social media campaigns.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Knowledge of Arabic and English digital marketing trends.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Knowledge of International digital marketing trends

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β French language communication skills.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Graphic design skills or willingness to learn design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)

Β·Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Video editing and production skills is a plus.
