Role Description

  • Establish both short-term and long-term sales goals and monitor achievements, taking necessary action as needed to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Passionate and enthusiastic involvement in all aspects of team management as well as direct interaction during the sales process with prospects, customers and partners
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets
  • Manage and lead a team of BDMs, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to help them achieve their sales goals
  • Set sales targets and performance metrics for the Business development team and monitor performance against these targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects to drive sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product and other teams to develop sales strategies and campaigns that align with business objectives
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine positioning and sales strategy

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrated outstanding achievements in B2B sales, with proven contribution to top-line growth through corporate partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth.
  • Proven experience in Business Development with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and team members.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data- driven decisions.
  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree – Sales, Business 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field; MBA preferred. Administration, Engineering, or relevant field preferred
  • Proficiency in sales CRM software and other sales productivity tools
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer value
