Role Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our QA team. As a tester, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications before they reach our users. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify edge cases, and help build a robust testing culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications and user stories.
  • Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across web and/or mobile platforms.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts (if applicable).
  • Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and continuously contribute to process improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in agile environments.
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and scripting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with API testing, mobile testing, and cross-browser testing is a bonus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
