Job Description
The Traveling Mechanical Project Manager oversees large-scale mechanical construction projects across the Southeast. This role requires managing all phases of the project—budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and field coordination—while ensuring top-quality execution and client satisfaction. Candidates should be comfortable traveling throughout the week, with the opportunity to drive home on weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and cost control from start to finish
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage change orders, material procurement, and safety compliance
- Provide leadership and oversight to field staff and project engineers
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of mechanical construction experience (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- Proven track record managing large commercial or industrial projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeast
