Job Description

We are a high-growth startup composed of A-players. We are looking for an extremely sharp, obsessive, and high-energy problem solver to join our core team.

This is not a traditional ticket-closing support role. It is a technical career track designed for someone who wants to understand a product end-to-end, dig into data, and eventually grow into a Full Stack or Senior Engineer role.

What you will do

  • Diagnose with data: You won’t just report bugs; you will validate them. You will use SQL to query databases, check states (invoices, payments, reconciliations), and prove hypotheses before escalating to engineering.
  • Deep dive into the system: You will read application logs and backend code to understand logic flows and identify exactly where an issue originated.
  • Customer ownership: You are the face of the company for our clients. You will handle a high volume of inquiries (chat/email/calls) with clarity, empathy, and speed.
  • Fix and improve: In the long term, we expect you to contribute small code fixes, scripts, or automations to reduce friction.

Who you are

  • Technical mindset: You may be a recent graduate or have junior experience, but you understand how software is built. You can read code and write SQL queries autonomously.
  • Obsessively curious: You don’t stop at “it’s broken.” You need to know why it broke. You look at integration events, logs, and database records to find the root cause.
  • Excellent communicator: You can explain complex technical issues simply. You are direct, concise, and empathetic when dealing with frustrated users.
  • Startup DNA: You thrive in fast-paced environments. You have high ownership, you work hard, and you learn fast.

Requirements

  • Advanced English is non-negotiable (verbal and written).
  • Ability to read/understand backend code.
  • Proficiency in SQL (joins, investigating data inconsistencies).
  • Experience or strong familiarity with reading application logs.
  • Available to work remotely (approx. 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST).
