About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented assistant to support our business with a mix of administrative tasks and on-the-ground errands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and is comfortable switching between administrative work, and light office tasks and errands.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee basic office management tasks – manage supply inventory, handling outgoing and incoming mail/packages/deliveries, coordinating maintenance, etc.
- Coordinate and execute tasks related to office events – catering orders, ensuring on-time pickup/delivery for meetings or events, and creating and packaging event materials.
- Support with basic administrative work – scanning, filing, preparing documents, etc.
- Other ad hoc errands or admin support as needed.
- Ensure tasks are completed promptly – if unavailable, coordinate coverage to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation (with valid driver’s license and insurance).
- Must live within convenient driving distance of Bethesda, MD.
- Availability during business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) – availability outside of business hours may be requested from time to time.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and work independently.
- Compliance with HIPAA regulation and ability to handle confidential information.
- Comfortable with basic technology and office equipment.
- Dependable, proactive, and able to follow through on commitments.
Schedule & Pay:
- $20/hour.
- Part-time with variable hours each week depending on needs (flexibility is a plus).
- Some tasks may be scheduled in advance, while others may require same-day turnaround.
