Gro HR is a HR, Payroll, and Recruitment Outsourcing company that currently services over 150 small-mid sized businesses across the United States. We are searching for a highly motivated, accountable, and social Business Development Partner (formal title is Gro(w)th Partner), to join our small and mighty team to reach and impact more businesses!
This role DOES NOT include Account Management aspects, it is frontline business development and then hands off to our internal Consultants after a relationship has been established.
This role is a base salary + residuals + commissions. Full Time, W2, with Benefits and 401k available.
If you meet minimum monthly goal expectations, you are guaranteed to gross between 75-110k a year based on commission payments and in your first year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Â
The Growth Partner’s role is to develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new client opportunities through cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and more. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with potential clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and completing Discovery calls that lead to Service Proposals, and ultimately new Client Relationships. Growth Partner’s answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. This position may require occasional travel.Â
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Â Â
• Develop new business via cold calling, emailing, and networking
• Meet Required Sales Quotas
          Set at least 2 new discovery calls per week
          Make at least 20 cold calls per day
          Email at least 40 businesses each day for HR/Payroll/Recruitment Services
          Attend at least 3 networking events per month
          Close at least $4,500 in new monthly recurring sales each month
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits, alongside CEO or COOÂ
• Attend first Implementation Call with HR or Recruitment Consultant to ensure adequate knowledge transfer and relationship kickoff.Â
• Forecast and track key business development metrics on the company-provided CRM, Pipedrive.Â
• Participate in company Marketing initiatives that affect the growth of the CompanyÂ
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territoryÂ
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations, as needed, alongside Consultant and Executive Management.Â

Qualifications:Â
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersÂ
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)Â
• Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or Relationship Manager.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-levelÂ
• Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive, Asana, etc.) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)Â
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needsÂ
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detailÂ
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilitiesÂ
• Strong verbal and written communication skillsÂ
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant fieldÂ
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceÂ
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesÂ
