This is a long-term onsite role in Fremont, CA 94538. Shift Schedule (40 hours): 12-hour shifts (4 AM –4 PM) — Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Alternate Wednesdays

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to support operations within our Metrology Department. This on-site role plays a critical part in coordinating production workflows, tracking internal and external metrology jobs, and ensuring smooth communication across engineering, logistics, and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Operate computer interface and navigate diagnostic software
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and accountable
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Adaptive, flexible, and quick to learn new systems and processes
  • Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Fluent in English, Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing metrology jobs (internal and external service requests)
  • Track production flow and job status within the Metrology department to ensure timely completion
  • Serve as a liaison between Metrology, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, and other internal teams
  • Coordinate with couriers and logistics providers for material movement and deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to job control and production tracking
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on systems and processes
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of SOPs and process documentation, as needed
  • Uphold Core Values, including strict adherence to Customer IP Protection

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, operations, or production coordination
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, quality control, or metrology environment
  • Background coordinating with shipping, logistics, or supply chain teams
  • Experience creating or maintaining SOPs or procedural documentation
  • Exposure to rolling out or supporting new operational initiatives
  • Clerical or production control experience in a technical or engineering setting
