About our client’s clinic:
They are a very busy ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) specialist clinic with two ENT physicians providing high-volume outpatient care. Each physician sees approximately 30 patients per day on typical clinic days, with some days dedicated to hospital operating room (OR) work. During OR days, the MOA plays a key role in maintaining clinic operations and preparing OR documentation.
The clinic uses InputHealth (TELUS Health) EMR and offers a fast-paced, team-based work environment.
About the Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join a busy ENT clinic. This role requires strong multitasking skills, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting. Training will be provided for clinic-specific tasks, including hearing assessments and equipment sterilization. The successful candidate will work closely with the physicians and be an integral part of the clinicβs daily operations.
Responsibilities
Multitasking & Front Desk Duties
- Multitasking in a busy office environment, including:
- Answering high-volume phone calls
- Patient appointment bookings
- Preparing operating room (OR) document packages
- Finishing and faxing physician letters through EMR
- Office preparation, including equipment sterilization (training provided)
- Performing hearing assessments (training provided)
Administrative & EMR Responsibilities
- Use InputHealth (TELUS Health) EMR for scheduling, documentation, and correspondence
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records
- Support physicians with administrative needs during clinic and OR days
Clinical & Office Support
- Assist with basic clinical tasks as required
- Support smooth clinic flow while working with two physicians
- Adapt to fluctuating workloads in a high-volume specialist practice
Qualifications
- MOA certificate preferred but not required
- New graduates welcome, experience is an asset
- Willingness to learn is essential
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to remain efficient and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Language Skills (Assets): Chinese, Punjabi
Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM β 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM β 3:00 PM
- Full-Time Position
